' Design: The new Wendy's will be one of the first in the area with the new two-story design. The restaurant will offer a variety of seating options, TV screens and Wi-Fi connections to appeal to all types of customers.

' Contractor: Lee Construction LLC in Dunlap, Tenn.
' History: Wendy's International bought the site in 2005 with plans to open a company-owned store, but sold the site to one of its franchisees, which began building the new restaurant this spring. Wen Choo Choo, which Jim Patton began in 1988 when he bought a Wendy's restaurant in Lafayette, Ga., has opened 10 other Wendy's in the area.
' Schedule: Zack DeBord, the 26-year-old, third generation president of the Wendy's franchise, said the new Holtzclaw Avenue unit should open by Nov. 1. "We feel like this is a good area of town with Warner Park, the Chattanooga Zoo and the nearby Erlanger, Memorial and Parkridge hospitals," DeBord said. "And the new design should attract more customers."
' Staffing: 20 to 30 employees at the new unit, among 350 employees across all 11 of Wen Choo Choo's restaurants.
' Operating hours: The new Wendy's will be open every day from 10:30 a.m to 11:30 p.m.
