Size: The new, four-story apartment building is roughly 55,000 square feet and will house 53 apartments.
Investment: The project cost around $5 million.
Architect: Elemi Architecture, LLC, Chattanooga.
Engineer: Sbi Engineers, Chattanooga.
History: A bicycle shop formerly occupied the location. Wise was able to salvage and store the building and plans to use it in the future at Normal Park.
Scope: The Lofts on Tremont will feature four floor plans with studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units. There also will be an outdoor fireplace and sitting area for residents. Cable television and Wi-Fi are included. Rent will range between $800 and $1,450 a month. Wise Properties owns and manages several other apartment buildings in Chattanooga.
Schedule: The Lofts on Tremont project is expected to be finished around April.
