The staff of Hunter Museum of American Art and Reflection Riding Arboretum and Nature Center will lead a session on the link between art and the Scenic City's surrounding natural beauty when "The Nature of Art: Climbing Chattanooga" is held Saturday, March 24, at 10 a.m.

Participants will meet at Montlake Golf Course parking lot, 9104 Brow Lake Road in Soddy-Daisy. After an art discussion, bouldering will begin, lasting until noon, although participants are welcome to stay longer and climb.

Climbers will need to bring their own shoes and chalk. Crash pads will be provided thanks to the generosity of The Crash Pad and UTC Outdoors, however extra pads are welcome. Any participant under 18 must have a parent or guardian present.

The registration fee is $10, to be paid in cash on event day. In case of rain, registered participants will be emailed with an alternate plan for the event.

To register, email chiggins@huntermuseum.org.
