Gather round the table for Easter buffets at Tennessee state parks

A visit to two area Tennessee state parks Sunday will be a chance to combine great food with the great outdoors. A traditional Easter buffet will be served at all eight of the system's restaurants, including Cumberland Mountain State Park in Crossville and Fall Creek Falls State Park in Pikeville.

Cumberland Mountain will offer its Homemade Easter Buffet from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. CDT, with a hot bar that includes roast beef and turkey and dressing. The restaurant's signature banana pudding will be among the dessert offerings. Price is $12.95 for adults, $6.95 for children 6-12. Call 931-484-7186 for more information.

Fall Creek Falls will spread an all-you-care-to-eat Easter Feast Overlooking the Lake. Chef-carved ham and turkey, along with chicken and dumplings and grilled salmon, will be available, as well as a dessert bar.
