Chattanooga Now 'Ghost' starts romantic double feature at Calhoun's Gem

Gem Theatre in Calhoun, Ga., will offer two big-screen love stories this month, beginning with "Ghost" at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3. This romantic fantasy thriller film starring Demi Moore, left, and Patrick Swayze, was nominated for five Academy Awards, including Best Picture, and earned Whoopi Goldberg an Oscar as Best Supporting Actress. The plot centers on a young woman in jeopardy (Moore), the ghost of her murdered lover (Swayze) and the reluctant psychic (Goldberg) who helps them communicate.
