Covenant series concludes tonight

Three internationally acclaimed artists will come together tonight for the final evening of exceptional music in the Covenant Arts series. The program, Eugenia Zukerman & Friends, begins at 8 p.m. on the Covenant College campus, 14049 Scenic Highway, Lookout Mountain, Ga.

Zukerman has been hailed by the press as "one of the finest flutists of our time." In addition to appearing as a recitalist and soloist, she has followed creative pursuits as a writer, artistic director, television/web journalist and educator. She is a member of the faculty of New York University's Department of Music and Performing Arts.

Sharing the stage will be soprano Svetlana Strezeva and pianist Milana Strezeva, who are mother and daughter.

Svetlana Strezeva is a prominent Russian-born American soprano who has been praised as "The Great Russian Nightingale" by Russia's St. Petersburg Press. Milana Strezeva is a Moldovan-American pianist who founded the award-winning Manhattan Piano Trio.
