Award-winning family bluegrass band Weaver Believer Survival Revival will headline the Cowboy Gospel Jubilee at 7 tonight in Cleveland, Tenn. Paul and Chris Weaver will join their eight children playing guitars, banjos, mandolin, fiddle, acoustic bass and stand-up bass, as well as singing harmony.

"We hosted the Weavers back in the spring, and the response was overwhelming," said the Rev. Will Nichols, announcer and producer of the jubilee, a weekly, Opry-style gospel singing at the Cleveland Cowboy Church. "It was one of the best shows of the year."

The group was named Bluegrass Band of the Year at the North American Country Music Association Awards Show earlier this year. Individual members took home three songwriter awards as well as two instrumentalist awards.

At this year's Horizon Awards, their latest album, "Sunday Singing on the Way Home," took Bluegrass Album of the Year. They are working on a Christmas album.

The Weavers sang harmony together for some time before adding instruments, according to a news release.

In fact, the formation of the band evolved over time as the popularity of the family's music blossomed.

"We just started singing as a family about 10 years ago," Paul Weaver said. "And then [we] began to sing around for shut-ins and at nursing homes -- people who couldn't run away."

Now, from their home base in Cleveland, Ga., the family travels thousands of miles and performs hundreds of shows each year.
