Music for the People concert series debuts in Fort Payne

Chattanooga-based gypsy bluegrass band Strung Like a Horse will headline a free concert set for 3 to 10 p.m. CDT Saturday, June 25, at the Rotary Pavilion, 202 Fifth St. NE in Fort Payne, Ala. Also on the bill are The Ain't Sisters, Matty Croxton, Courtney Holder and Trey Headrick. The show is the first of four Music for the People concerts to be presented this summer by the Little River Arts Council (originally known as the Mentone Area Arts Council). Member artists also will have works on display around the venue. Concessions including barbecue and beer will be available.
