Choral Arts of Chattanooga is inviting music lovers to join them and guest soloist Stella Zambalis for a concert of holiday music on Friday night, Dec. 8, at Second Presbyterian Church.

"Christmas with Stella" is an evening of sacred and secular holiday music featuring soprano Zambalis. Concertgoers will be entertained with the "warmth of a Christmas lullaby, the majesty of Ralph Vaughan Williams' 'Benedictite' and the exhilaration of Dave Brubeck's 'We Three Kings,'" says Kim Thompson, Choral Arts president,

This will be the sixth performance in which Zambalis has joined Choral Arts. She will be featured on "A Slumber Song of the Madonna," "Maria Wiegenlied," "O Holy Night" and "Glory, Glory, Glory to the Newborn King" by Moses Hogan.

The soprano has been the guest of leading opera companies across the United States, in Canada, Europe and South America. She created new roles for the Metropolitan Opera, Houston Grand Opera and La Scala in Milan, Italy.

Following the concert, guests are invited to join the singers and soloist at a reception in the church fellowship hall.
