UALR vs. Tulsa
UALR holds on to win over Tulsa Sunday afternoon at the Jack Stephens Center in Little Rock.
Internationally known violinist Jaime Jorge brings A Healing Music Festival to Collegedale Community Church this weekend for two days of performances by Christian music artists.
Jorge has played violin for almost 30 years. He has toured to seven countries performing more than 3,000 concerts.
In 2012, he founded Healing Music Inc. to raise awareness and funds for missionary projects that were dear to him. They include: missionary concerts around the world that focus on evangelism, sponsoring orphan children in India and awarding music scholarships to worthy students.
Additionally, for 16 years Jorge has helped raise funds to purchase Bibles for people in Cuba, sponsor lay pastors and establish home churches there.
The first of three concerts will be held Friday, July 28, at 6 p.m. when pianist Fernando Ortego plays.
On Saturday, July 29, The Martins will sing at 3 p.m. and Selah takes the stage at 7:30 p.m. Doors open a half-hour before each concert.
