Nashvillian by way of Chattanooga with some New York, Los Angeles and Austin along the way, Leticia Wolf comes by her rainbow of genres honestly.

Although she's a writer first, you have to wonder when she has time. The woman has her hands in myriad projects.

Wolf fronts hard-rock band The Dead Deads, who are working on their sixth studio release with producer Matt Mahaffey. She participates in a children's project with Tom Petersson of Cheap Trick, and collaborates with hip-hop and country artists in Nashville.

She's worked with Cowboy Jack Clement to Page Hamilton of Helmet. Recent achievements include penning lyrics to the TMNT Reboot for Nickelodeon and Honda's latest Goldwing campaign, as well as songs for a new children's show in development with Netflix.

And she still has time to do solo shows, such as her gig at Songbirds on Friday night, July 12.

"Leticia is a fascinating young woman and super entertainer," says Mike Dougher, Songbirds entertainment coordinator.

"She first came on my radar with her punk band. She's done country duets with Channing Wilson, performed as a songwriter and folk singer, toured extensively with the hard-rockin' Dead Deads - and literally the whole time she's been a quality songwriter."

Perhaps not so coincidentally, Channing Wilson is also performing at Songbirds on Friday night.

"I firmly believe Leticia could do any type of music she wanted. When I say we're happy Leticia is going to do a concert, you have no idea. A great friend is coming for a visit," Dougher says.
