EarthDayz at Rock City

To help spread the message of sustainability, Rock City Gardens is celebrating EarthDayz every weekend through May 1.

"EarthDayz revolves around Rock City's commitment to reduce, reuse and recycle, as well as our stewardship of nature, our commitment to education and the environment," said public-relations manager Meagan Jolley in a news release. "We are partnering once again with Orange Grove as they provide parkwide recycling pickup for the attraction."

They include Rock City Raptors Birds of Prey Shows at 11 a.m., 1 and 3 p.m.; RockQuest Adventures, highlighting the geological wonders of the Enchanted Trail; make-and-take recycling projects; panning for gems and Fairyland Forest Makeovers (additional charges apply for some activities). New this year at Lover's Leap is an educational demonstration of how to make rain barrels.

The Easter Bunny will also be on-site during festival hours Saturday.
