Chattanooga Now Two businesses put the party on wheels

No way you're getting behind the wheel as you celebrate St. Patrick's Day, but a designated driver and walking from bar to bar aren't your only other options.

This could be the weekend to try out two of the city's mini mass-transit conveyances: Pints and Pedals, a 15-seat bicycle, and the Chattanooga Double Decker bus.

¦ Pints and Pedals will be circulating downtown over four days. Hours are 6-11 p.m. Friday, March 14; 3-11 p.m. Saturday, March 15; 1-7 p.m. Sunday, March 16; and 7-9 p.m. Monday, March 17.

Cost is $25 for a single seat, $250 for a group of 10 or more.

¦ Chattanooga Double Decker will run from 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday for the Party on the Parkway and 6 p.m. to midnight Monday, according to organizers at The Honest Pint, 35 Patten Parkway.

Other stops include Hair of the Dog Pub, 334 Market St., and the Terminal Brewhouse, 6 E. 14th St.
