Area residents get a chance to salute the work of city and county law enforcement officers at a lunch event called "Go Blue" on Friday, May 13, at Miller Plaza.
From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., men and women in blue from the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department and Chattanooga Police Department can meet the citizens they serve and protect while dining on free pizza from Little Caesars and free drinks from Chattanooga Coca-Cola Bottling Co. The free food, along with free flying discs with the Go Blue logo, will be available to the first 500 people.
Dr. B. & the Ease will entertain on the River City stage during the event.
