Set in Switzerland, "Swiss Vendetta" was inspired by the 2005 ice storm that ravaged Geneva, de Hahn says.
Her protagonist is an astute police inspector, raw with grief from the death of her husband, who must unravel the mystery of a violent death among the Swiss aristocracy as the blizzard of the century sweeps down.
Star Line Books, 1467 Market St., will host this stop by the author from 3 to 4 p.m.
