Motivational speaker Tasha Schuh, who had dreamed of a theater career before a 16-foot fall through a stage trapdoor left her paralyzed from the waist down, will be the special guest for the annual Bradley County Youth Basketball Allstars tournament on Friday, Feb. 17.

Previous keynote speakers have included former University of Tennessee athletes Chamique Holdsclaw and Inky Johnson.

Schuh, author of "My Last Step Backward," 2012 Ms. Wheelchair USA and founder of "The PITCrew" on teamwork in life, is scheduled to speak from 6:30 to 6:50 p.m. as part of opening ceremonies at Ocoee Middle School, 2250 N. Ocoee St. in Cleveland, Tenn.

Games begin at 7 p.m. Friday, 8 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, and 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19.

Tickets are $5 per day for adults, $3 for high school and middle school students; $15 and $10 for weekend wristbands.
