The leaves in Chattanooga are still falling, but there's a 100 percent chance of snow inside the Creative Discovery Museum on Saturday, Nov. 18, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. during Snow Day.

Museum guests can spend the afternoon at the children's museum enjoying the first "snowfall" in Chattanooga with special guests Jack Frost and Suzy Snowflake as they participate in wintry activities.

"Snow Day gives kids a brilliant opportunity to engage all of their senses and actively participate in creative winter fun," says Amy Barrett, CDM experience manager. "Snow Day is becoming a tradition with families as they celebrate the beginning of winter and kick off the holiday season at the museum with fun, educational activities for the whole family."

Snow Day's schedule of activities and all materials are included with regular museum admission of $13.95 per person.

» Noon. Snowflake tortillas in Culinary Corner.

» Noon-4 p.m. Create winter-related art at Creation Station and in the Art Studio.
