Rossville native Lauren Alaina will be riding a float in the 91st Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City this morning, broadcast live on NBC beginning at 9 a.m.
The country singer will share her ride with a two-story-tall Green Giant aboard the new Harvest in the Valley float by Green Giant. This is the first appearance in the iconic parade for both.
The Rossville singer is one of numerous performers appearing in today's parade, announced by Macy's on its parade website. Others include Gwen Stefani, Andra Day, 98 Degrees, Common, Wyclef Jean, Goo Goo Dolls, Smokey Robinson, Andy Grammer, Leslie Odom Jr. and Patti LaBelle. Other country singers appearing are Cam, Dustin Lynch and Sara Evans.
