The Scenic City Open Car Show is back this weekend for its seventh year, but fans will find it in a new location.

The car show presented by the Scenic City CruiZers has moved to Lee Pointe, 6400 Lee Highway in the parking lot of Miller-Motte. It's a convenient location easily accessed from either Lee Highway or exit ramps off Highway 153 at Lee Highway.

Show hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, and it is open to all vehicles. The car show raises funds for Chattanooga Room in the Inn.

According to Chase Rice, there will be 20 specialty awards, such as People's Choice and Best-Sounding Exhaust, along with Top 75 awards.

A cash award will be given to the top three clubs with highest participation. A 50/50 drawing will be held; a small-block engine, valued at $2,800, will be awarded in a grand-prize drawing. There will also be a silent auction featuring more than 40 items.

Registration fee is $20, which includes a ticket for a door prize and goody bag.

Rain date is Saturday, Oct. 21.
