Broadway's 'Romeo and Juliet' at movies - Feb. 16-19

Orlando Bloom, left, and Condola Rashad starred in the recent Broadway run of "Romeo and Juliet," the first time in more than 36 years that Shakespeare's tragic love story had been on Broadway. Before it closed in December, high-definition cameras recorded a production at the Richard Rodgers Theatre. That recording will be available in more than 2,000 movie theaters in all 50 states for four days, Sunday-Wednesday, March 16-19. Participating cinemas include three area Carmike locations: Majestic 12, 311 Broad St. in Chattanooga; Northgate 14, 310 Northgate Mall Drive in Hixson; and Carmike 12, 875 Walnut Square Blvd. in Dalton, Ga. All seats are $20. Visit www.carmike.com for showtimes.
