Chattanooga native Jason Ross will take a break from his duties at the Cumberland County Playhouse on Sunday, Feb. 17, to appear in concert with the Southern Stars Symphonic Brass in Crossville, Tenn. The show is the 30-member instrumental band's winter concert.

In honor of the special guest, the show is themed "Who's Got JR?" Ross will tap into his 16 years of playhouse productions to weave selections from a variety of musical genres into the concert.

"He is expected to sing a couple of his favorites, which will surely have his unique acting skills and humor sprinkled in too," according to the band's website.

The show starts at 3 p.m. CST in the auditorium of Stone Memorial High School, 2800 Cook Road.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $5 for students. They are available in advance at the playhouse box office, 221 Tennessee Ave., by phone at 931-484-5000 or online at www.ccplayhouse.com (a small handling charge will apply for tickets purchased from the playhouse).

Tickets also are available at Cumberland Eye Care in Fairfield Glade, First National Bank of Tennessee branches in Crossville and Fairfield Glade, and Bed & Biscuit Kennel in Crossville.
