The Marcus Roberts Trio, fronted by a blind piano virtuoso, will perform Tuesday, Feb. 18, at Southern Adventist University in Collegedale. Shows will start at 7 and 8:45 p.m. in Ackerman Auditorium. Roberts, center, lost his sight at age 5. He studied classical piano at Florida State University and has collaborated with a variety of musical heavyweights, including Wynton Marsalis and Bela Fleck. The trio, founded in 1995, features bassist Rodney Jordan and drummer Jason Marsalis. Tickets will be available at the door. Cost is $5 for adults, $12 for families. For details, call 423-236-2814.
