Red Bank Jubilee Parade entrants must sign up by April 26 to join the lineup.
The parade, led by Grand Marshal Hamilton County Mayor Jim Coppinger, will be May 7 starting at 10 a.m. and will last about one hour, starting at Euclid Avenue and traveling along Dayton Boulevard to Unaka Street.
"We usually have between 40 to 50 parade entrants," said Red Bank City Manager Chris Dorsey, adding it is free to be in the parade. "I look forward to working with citizens to have an outstanding parade this year in Red Bank."
Parade entry categories are business or commercial floats, band, drill or flags, specialty and novelty, dignitaries, walking unit and community or neighborhood group.
Dorsey said state, county and city political leaders ride in the parade. He said Red Bank ball teams will ride on floats too.
"The parade begins the jubilee day," said Dorsey.
Red Bank Jubilee chair Callie LeCompte said she is also in search of vendors, volunteers and musicians for the all-day festivities May 7 at Red Bank City Park along Dayton Boulevard. The deadline for vendor, volunteer and musician signups is May 5. Auction items are still being accepted to raise money for Red Bank teacher and student scholarships. .
