Closing Leslie's Casuals on Hixson Pike three years ago, owner Leslie Jones thought it was time to retire. However, she decided to reopen her Leslie's Casuals store this spring in Red Bank instead.

"We are a fashion-forward discount store," said Jones, a Red Bank resident who has owned five different clothing stores over the last 40 years. "We sell a lot of sunglasses and jewelry. We carry clothing lines like Sangria, Spense, Bob Mackie, XOXO and Isabella Rodriguez. Accessories, handbags and tops sell well."

Sales associate Judy Brown, of Hixson, said the store also sells bracelets, necklaces, rings, purses, flip flops and head bands.

Brown said everything in the store is new and purchased by Jones from various warehouses.

Shirley Cope, of Signal Mountain, said she is a frequent customer at Leslie's Casuals. She said she first began shopping at Leslie's to purchase clothing to take on a cruise 10 years ago.

Leslie's Casuals is at 739 Ashland Terrace
