The Gymnastics Center of Chattanooga is having a Daddy-Daughter Hoe-Down Dance on Jan. 30 from 5-8 p.m. at Ooltewah United Methodist Church. Tickets are $25 per couple and includes a barbecue dinner at 4:30 p.m. Emma and I will see you there.
The news that District 9 Commissioner Bill Hullander is not going to seek re-election and is seeking the Hamilton County Trustee office was a big surprise here in Ooltewah. Reports already have churned out the names of current District 9 school board member Chester Bankston and Collegedale Mayor John Turner as potential commission candidates.
