Local entrepreneur Emerson Russell is moving his company from downtown Chattanooga to the former Miller-Motte campus this holiday season. The new space is at 6148 Lee Highway in East Brainerd.
ERMC opened its doors in December 1998 and now offers security, janitorial and mechanical maintenance services and landscaping in 38 states. With a little over 4,000 employees, the company serves over 200 different businesses around the country, including a lot of shopping centers and airports, said Russell. Locally, ERMC works with Hamilton Place and Northgate malls.
"We hope to move in [the former Miller-Motte building] before New Year's," Russell said. "We are remodeling it now. We are going to a more open air concept instead of individual offices."
