Valentine’s Day is mere weeks away, so the time is nigh to make your holiday plans. But there’s no need to book a table at some flashy, crowded bistro. No reservation is required at Forbidden City, which boasts an all-you-can-eat buffet as grand as its interior.

Forbidden City’s colorful buffets are well-stocked with authentic Asian eats, classic American comfort foods and various fusion fare. The restaurant’s dramatic high-domed ceiling is supported by marble-like columns, setting the ideal stage for a night of romance. And, best of all, on Valentine’s Day Forbidden City features its dinner buffet all day long.

The restaurant typically offers its lunch buffet Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., followed by its dinner buffet from 3:30 to close. Forbidden City serves dinner all day on Sunday, making it one of the restaurant’s busiest days.

During dinner hours, the buffet expands to include more seafood options, including salmon, crab legs, frog legs and fried shrimp. The sushi bar features more fresh seafood options, such as the Love Roll. The occassion-appropriate roll is made with cucumber and crab topped with avocado, roe and spicy mayo, all edged by a perimeter of half-moon-shaped slices of cucumber.

Moreover, Forbidden City boasts a full bar — leaving you with no excuse for failing to plan this Valentine’s Day.
