Located on Glover Road about 10 miles northeast of Chattanooga and just west of Highway 58, the property for many years was owned by then-Provident Life and Accident Insurance Co., according to J. Bryan Rudisill of NAI Charter Real Estate Corp.
While the land has a different private owner now, it has more than 2,200 feet of water frontage. The parcel is largely undeveloped and is "the perfect spot" for a club or retreat, according to the company.

With an asking price of $5.5 million, the site is zoned R-2A. That allows for mixed-use residential development. Subdivision of the property is currently prohibited, according to NAI Charter. A septic tank is located on the parcel.
