* What: The new California Cobb salad is big on flavor, presentation and value. "Everybody loves it," said co-owner Taylor Monen. The salad comes in a huge bowl filled with a romaine lettuce mix, rotisserie-cooked Peruvian chicken, Applewood smoked bacon, avocado, diced eggs, diced tomatoes and blue-cheese crumbles. Try it with one of the two homemade salad dressings, a made-from-scratch white balsamic vinaigrette made with pure maple syrup, or jalapeno ranch with peppers and other spices added to buttermilk ranch. "This has really been a popular menu item for us," Mrs. Monen said. And it can be custom-made with less bacon and blue cheese if you're watching calories, she said.
