The school in Dalton, Ga., is the University System of Georgia's state college for Northwest Georgia. The school, at 721 Eastgate Loop Road, offers programs in cosmetology, criminal justice, medical office management, therapeutic massage and pharmacy technician. A culinary institute, Culinard, opened in November 2012. Culinard students may pursue a diploma in culinary arts or pastry arts, both of which can be completed in 36 weeks, as well as an online associate degree in culinary arts.
