Fifty-four young women will be presented to the Cotton Ball court on Saturday, July 30, when the 77th annual Cotton Ball is held at the Chattanooga Convention Center.
The gala begins with a cocktail reception at 6 p.m. followed by the presentation at 7 p.m.
The debutante ball is a fundraiser, with proceeds disbursed among local nonprofits. Past organizations to which donations have been made include Northside Neighborhood House, Little Miss Mag Child Care Center, Children's Advocacy Center, First Things First, the Partnership for Families, Children and Adults, and Children's Hospital at Erlanger.
