Four win pageant titles

Four collegians won pageant titles and the right to compete in Miss Tennessee during the Miss Scenic City/Chattanooga pageants held at Chattanooga State Community College on Oct. 28.

Thirty-two young women competed for the four titles awarded.

Hannah Robison of Martin, Tenn., a student at the University of Tennessee at Martin, was named Miss Tennessee Valley. Robison won the overall swimsuit award and evening gown competition.

Amy Catherine Flynn of Knoxville, a University of Tennessee at Knoxville student, was named Miss Scenic City. Flynn, a former "American Idol" contestant, won the overall talent award and interview.

Dacey Winkleman of Winchester, Tenn., a student at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, was named Miss Chattanooga.

Winkleman, who was recently crowned UTC's homecoming queen, won the swimsuit preliminary.

Jaclyn Torrento of Springfield, Tenn., a student at Belmont University, was named Miss Metropolitan.

Torrento, who won the talent preliminary, will be performing with the cast of "Christmas at Belmont."

Keo-Kio inducts 20 McCallie students

Keo-Kio, McCallie School's senior leadership organization, invited 20 seniors to join the group in a Chapel ceremony Nov. 2. Included are Shawn Paik, Grant McKown, Sam Devaney, Jack Harris, Evan Loughlin, Alec Josiah, Chris Lee, Peter Kim, Jonathan Lau, Brandon Bout, Harrison Raby, Hunter Brock, Austin Harnsberger, Alex Ramey, Nathan McElwee, Cam Linsley, John Martin Peters, Mike Ray, Zach Anderson and Jack Jones.
