Q: Dad, I'm kind of surprised at how few of my former high school classmates I've seen or heard from since graduation. Why is that?
A: You shouldn't be surprised. It's what happens. People move on with their lives and they realize that much of the stuff that seemed so important in high school really doesn't matter in the real world. Leave all that behind and move forward. What is important now is college, making new friends and preparing for your future.
