The local chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. is partnering with area mortgage lenders and nonprofit agencies to present the DST Homeownership Initiative Seminar: Building Blocks of Homeownership.
Residents who are interested in becoming first-time homeowners can learn about aspects of the purchasing process such as what to expect when buying a home, down payment and closing cost options, the criteria lenders use to examine applicants and homebuyer assistance resources and programs.
