The newest show house project for the popular This Old House magazine is under construction in Cloudland Station, a 450-acre community along the side of Lookout Mountain in Chickamauga, Ga.

This is the first time the brand has built and decorated a show house from the ground up, according to a news release from This Old House Ventures Inc.

The TOH Cottage at Cloudland Station will be featured extensively in the 2015 November/December issue of This Old House and on the magazine's website, and will be open for tours from September through December.

"Cloudland Station was perfect for us because it's a community with real architectural integrity and beautifully crafted homes," said magazine editor Scott Omelianuk.

This Old House collaborated with Cloudland Station developer John Tatum of Firefly Communities on the design of the 1,950-square-foot Craftsman-style cottage.

"The stunning property feels like you've stepped back in time, with a village square, stone bridges, treehouses, a swimming hole, a general store, and a large event barn reconstructed from the reclaimed wood of two old Amish barns. We knew we could showcase the things TOH stands for while creating an entirely modern living space-the best of both worlds."
