- What: Kevin Costner and Modern West Band drew just over 1,300 guests to the 54th annual StarNight gala at the Chattanooga Convention Center. Between musical numbers, the Oscar-winning actor fascinated his audience with behind-the-scenes stories of his movies and influences on his life. An avid Civil War buff, Costner also made a visit to Chickamauga Battlefield while in town and took time to meet with children enrolled in Siskin Children's Institute and their families.
