The City of Chattanooga is reporting several highway accidents tonight as icy weather worsens in the region:
• I-75 N in Hamilton Co Crash at EXIT 4: SR-153 / CHICKAMAUGA DAM / AIRPORT at 10:10 PM. Est clear by 11:10 PM
• I-75 N in Hamilton Co Crash at EXIT 3: SR-320 / E. BRAINERD RD. at 9:30 PM. Est clear by 10:30 PM
• I-75 S in Hamilton Co Crash at I-24 at 9:20 PM. Est clear by 10 PM
• I-24 E in Marion Co at MM 162 at 9:00 PM. Est clear by 11:00 PM
• I-75 N in Bradley Co Crash at MM 16 at 8:10 PM. Est clear by 9:30 PM
• I-75 S in Hamilton Co Crash at MM 3 at 9:00 PM. Est clear by 9:50 PM
• I-75 N in Hamilton Co Crash at MM 2 at 8:40 PM. Est clear by 9:40 PM
• I-75 N in Hamilton Co Crash at MM 3 at 8:30 PM. Est clear by 10 PM
• I-75 S in Hamilton Co at GA-TN STATE LINE at 8:00 PM. Est clear by 10 PM
• Reports of icy roads have come in for Cummings Highway and Amnicola Highway at Highway 153. Aside from those two reports, Chattanooga police report that city roads are still clear.
• Chattanooga and Bradley County officials are encouraging residents to stay off the roads due to icy conditions.
