Officials at Bradley County and Sequatchie County schools in Tennessee have canceled Friday because of bad weather, officials said.
In Georgia, school officials in Catoosa, Dade, Murray and Walker counties have called off classes for Friday.
Marion County students are enjoying the winter weather at home because classes have not yet reconvened from the holiday break, officials said.
