The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga defeated UNC Greensboro 58-45 on Monday night in McKenzie Arena.
The victory was the 100th for sixth-year coach John Shulman.
The Mocs (10-6, 2-1 SoCon) earned the victory with an explosive start to the second half. UTC trailed 26-20 at half. Then went on a 21-2 run over the first eight minutes of the second half.
Senior Ty Patterson led the Mocs with 14 points, Ricky Taylor had 14 and and Chris Early added 12 points. The Spartans were led by Brandon Evans' 10 points.
