Chattanooga firefighters will be adorning themselves in pink this week as they go about their daily business in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Local 820 is leading the initiative and will be selling pink T-shirts to the public for $10. All proceeds will go to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure breast cancer organization.
"We appreciate the city's support of this worthy cause," said Local 820 President Jeff Eldrige.
