The 241st Engineering Installation Squadron of the Tennessee Air Guard is scheduled to mobilize about 45 Airmen on Thursday, according to a news release.
The Airmen will deploy to various locations in the Middle East, some
filling the normal Air Force rotation, and others supporting U.S. Army units in Afghanistan, the release said.
The 241st's mission is engineering, installation, reconstruction, and replacement of communications-computer systems, air traffic control and landing systems.
The squadron is scheduled to return later this year, the release said
