Charles Greene runs at the Tennessee Riverpark, a popular spot for walking or running.Hamilton County Mayor Jim Coppinger's office has announced that on Thursday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. there will be a "Get Out and Go Night" at the Tennessee Riverpark.
The free event is being hosted by the county Parks and Recreation Department, according to a press release.
"Bring the family and enjoy an evening along the Riverwalk," the press release reads. "Stop by the maintenance field area between 6:30-8:00 PM and visit with representatives from a diverse group of Chattanooga area sports and leisure clubs who will be giving live demonstrations and providing information about each club's activities."
According to the release, the clubs planning to participate are:

Chattanooga Premier Cricket League
Chattanooga Area Soapbox Derby
Geocaching Club of Southeast TN and the Greater East Tennessee Geocaching Club

Saddle Pals Riding Club and Hamilton Co. 4H Horse Club
Chattanooga Triathlon Club
Scenic City Multisport
