Chattanooga City Council voting on new library board members

The Chattanooga City Council is set to vote tonight on abolishing the joint library board between the city and Hamilton County and establishing a new seven-member board run strictly by the city.

Mayor Ron Littlefield gave council members a list of seven names today. Four of the nominations are current board members.

The nominations include:

  • Herbert Cohn
  • Tom Griscom
  • Mai Bell Hurley
  • Jim Kennedy III
  • Chrystal Partridge
  • Karen McMahon
  • Theresa Liedtka
