The Atlanta Braves have issued a news release saying their weekend games with the New York Mets have been rescheduled.
Here's the release from the Braves: "Due to the potential effects of Hurricane Irene on the entire east coast this weekend, Saturday's 4:10 p.m. and Sunday's 1:10 p.m. games at New York have been postponed. Both games will be made up on Thursday, Sept. 8, as part of a doubleheader, with the first game scheduled for 4:10 p.m. "
