The Dalton Police Department is asking for the public's help tracking down a man wanted on warrants alleging burglary, theft and forgery.

Officials say Kenneth Lee Bradley, 55, has stolen checks from several entities and cashed them in his name, according to police spokesman Bruce Frazier.

On Sept. 19, officials at City of Refuge on 201 Bryant Ave. reported that a check for $750 donated by Rock Bridge Church had been stolen.

The church makes a monthly donation to the charity by mail, and officials began to worry when the donation from July did not arrive. They later were informed by their bank that the check had been cashed at Jax Liquor Store on Morris Street, allegedly endorsed by Bradley, Frazier said.

Bradley has a listed address of 1103 Dressage Drive in Cohutta, Ga., but investigators say he no longer is living at that location, according to Frazier.

Bradley also is suspected in a November incident in which multiple checks from North Georgia Boat Repair on 1203 South Thornton Aven. were stolen and written to Bradley, police said.

Those checks were cashed at various locations around Dalton, all written to and endorsed by Bradley.

He also is suspected in other similar check fraud cases, Frazier said. Anyone with information on Bradley's whereabouts is asked to contact Detective Jason Bishop at 706-278-9085, extension 214.
