Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport boardings jumped 6.85 percent in January for the sixth consecutive month of passenger increases over the prior year, officials said today.
Boardings rose to 20,761 passengers in January with increases in business traffic helping fuel the spike, said Mike Landguth, Airport Authority president.
Atlantic Southeast Airlines experienced a rise of 15.6 percent in the month. American Eagle's boardings soared 27.3 percent in the period, according to the airport.
