Sequatchie County Executive Michael Hudson has announced he is stepping down from his post at the end of March.

He said only that he felt like it was "time to go," but did not elaborate on future plans.

Hudson was re-elected to the seat in August 2010 after being appointed to fill the vacancy left by former seat holder David Barker, who resigned in 2007 for health reasons, and holding it in an unopposed election in 2008.
