The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office is seeking help in identifying a man who they believe stole a wallet and a car and then used both to head to Florida.

The saga began on Feb. 14 when a man discovered his wallet was stolen while at a business in Dalton, Ga. Around 9 a.m. that morning the suspect withdrew $850 from a Regions Bank in Dalton using the victim's cards.

The suspect and another unknown man traveled to Chattanooga, renting a room at a motel on Shallowford Road. Police say the men went to a club, went home with two women, and then the suspect drove one of the women's cars to a tattoo parlor. While at that shop, he obtained a tattoo of the Grim Reaper holding a skull, according to Atkinson.

The woman's car was located in St. Petersburg, Fla., on Feb. 25.

Detectives with the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office are requesting assistance in identifying the suspect. Officials believe the suspect is armed with a semi-automatic pistol.

Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect is requested to call the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division at 423-209-8940.
