Chattanooga police are investigating a robbery in which a person was stabbed, according to police.
Spokeswoman Jerri Weary said a man approached the victim, Marvin Hinton, at 2114-B Windsor Street, saying Hinton owed him money and demanding to be paid.
When Hinton didn't produce the money owed, the attacker slashed him across his abdomen.
Hinton is being treated at a local hospital and police are searching for the suspect, whom Hinton knew only as "Tay," Weary said.
