Hamilton County school board members this evening asked the Hamilton County Commission to buy the David Brainerd School property and pay for start-up costs . The school's space will help ease overcrowding at East Brainerd Elementary School.
Hamilton County commissioners verbally agreed Wednesday to buy the property using commercial paper debt, which is a short-term loan.
The property will cost $3.4 million.
